Ok so i was wondering what some of the taking dawn songs mean i only know what a few mean but i would like to hear from the band on this if its not too much trouble and i would like to know were they got there ideas to write them . Ok the first song i would like to start with is Crown of Crows back in the days of 7th son and then on down the list of other songs leading up to the end of Time To burn thanks -Chris

Crown of Crows is about two faced people that don't realize who they're fucking with, lol. I wrote it after a few instances with fellow local bands who smiled and kissed our asses then talked mad shit to people they THOUGHT hated us, but who turned around and dropped the dime on THEM. Straight outta Walk by Pantera. I just got tired of other bands "who ain't bringin' half the skill as me sayin' they wasn't feelin' me", as Mr. Mathers put it.

Great question from one Chris and great answer from another! I'd actually be really interested in hearing more about "Time to Burn". There's just so much to that song I'd love to know what I've been missing!
